Remember how as kids we all loved gossip?

Buzz is pretty much the same as our old-fashioned love for gossip. The only difference is that it’s not as juicy as gossip and it creates good (or bad) reputation, can help (if done well) or hurt business (if ignored) and now it’s connected with Social Commerce which is like a baby eCommerce which is further a subset of the good ol’ E-commerce. That’s how the chain goes.

Look at it this way. You are standing at a bus stop. The bus comes, you get on it and it takes you places. You are happy! So, now imagine, you are your business. And you are standing at a Buzz Stop instead. A Buzz Wagon will come and you need to get on it, if you want to see places.It means if your business wants to see more customers. If you are BuZZZzzz...ing, when the Buzz Wagon comes, you will miss it and be left behind while your competitors will get on it, see places and be very happy. More than you want them to be. The point to note is this. See the focus - how it was sticking to “that item”? So, the BuZZ was being created on the net by repeated (but not overwhelming) mention of that item. It creates web traction. Long story short, it creates a BuZZ and makes the item more visible to more people and therefore more saleable. Means better business and ultimately the bottom line “revenue”.
